ChatGPT
Add Sangria as a custom connector in ChatGPT, then shop from the chat.
Sangria connects to ChatGPT as a custom connector — you add it yourself with the Sangria endpoint. ChatGPT moves these settings around from time to time, so match on the wording rather than the exact path.
-
Open Settings, then Plugins.
-
Open Developer Mode and make sure it's turned on. Custom plugins only appear once it is.
-
Go back to Browse Plugins.
-
Add a new plugin and choose the custom option. Name it Sangria, set authentication to OAuth, and paste the endpoint:
https://api.getsangria.com/mcpOAuth signs you in with your own Sangria account, so there's no key to paste here.
-
Connect. ChatGPT sends you to Sangria to sign in.
-
Approve access. Sangria is connected.
To check it worked, ask ChatGPT what your Sangria balance is.
Custom connectors are a newer ChatGPT feature and they aren't offered on every plan. If you can't find the settings described above, your account may not have them yet — every other way into Sangria reaches the same account.
Connectors covers what a connected assistant can do, the spend limits it starts with, and how to disconnect it.
